Ambrosia Café opened circa 1998 on Queen Street, Richmond. In 2001 Mishael took over the ownership of the café and has been the manager ever since. Ambrosia means ‘something with an especially delicious flavour or fragrance. And that is the vision of Ambrosia Café today.
Ambrosia Cafe is an inviting cafe in the centre of Richmond near Nelson, New Zealand. It’s relaxing atmosphere engages you as soon as you step inside. Immediately, the smell of freshly brewed coffee and the delicious daily fare sets your mouth watering. The cafe is licensed, so whether you want a quick coffee and something sweet, brunch, lunch with friends, a business lunch or a glass of wine and a snack, it’s all here! Ambrosia’s qualified chefs have added a range of Gluten Free and Vegetarian options to the menu and bake a large range of delectable cakes and slices each day. The only problem is, how to choose! Ambrosia offer a choice of comfortable and relaxing indoor or outdoor dining. There is also an hour free wifi available for all customers.

Ambrosia cafe is the go to Cafe in Richmond. The staff are super friendly and make great coffee. The cabinet food is lovely and highly recommend. They have awesome indoor and outdoor seating. It's located on Queen Street and is attached to the Richmond mall. You can't go wrong with this cafe.
